Dr Kim Waddell Hired as VI EPSCoR VI-EPSCoR Program Liaison for Research and Educational Outreach

Dr Kim Waddell has joined the VI-EPSCoR team as Program Liaison for Research and Educational Outreach. Dr. Waddell brings a wide and diverse array of professional skills and experience with him, including from his service as Senior Program Officer for the National Academies' Board on Agriculture and Natural Resources, and as a former Research Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, where he served as program liaison, outreach coordinator, and senior in-country manager for a proposed coastal and marine ecosystem assessment and management plan for the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Dr. Waddell will play a major role in helping to build the scientific capacity of the USVI, primarily through the University of the Virgin Islands, and will lead the research and educational outreach aspects of the VI-EPSCoR program including K-18 Science and Math.
